About Karis

Hi! I'm Karis Arukwe and I'm a high school student at John F Kennedy. I've taken Algebra 1 and passed it successfully with a Grade A. I'm willing to help you with Algebra 1, offering the best material and service. I've always had a passion for teaching and tutoring and I aspire to be the most informative and best tutor that I can possibly be! We will start from the Foundations of Algebra to the intermediate Quadratics. Yes, I am young but that is an advantage because we can relate to each other! I know Algebra can be seen as a hard subject but when you learn the basics, you can be able to conquer any algebra problems! I work with 5th grade through middle school, which is where I feel most comfortable tutoring. I look forward to working and tutoring you❤️

What I love about my job is helping and seeing my students progress and become successful. I've always loved working with kids, ever since I was young. With tutoring, this could really help build my aspirations and increase my skill level in working with kids. Not only is my student going to progress, but I will also be progressing, in working with kids and becoming a better tutor, in each session we have.

About the lesson

For every new student, we will first review what skills and topics they already know. I'll figure out there reverence and level of knowledge in Algebra. Then I'll start my working with them on the basics of Algebra, which will jumpstart are progress with the course!
