About Sarah
Hi, I'm Sarah! I am an Industrial and Systems Engineering student who is working on her Bachelors and Masters degree. I love math! There are many teachers who truly don't know how to convey the fun and importance of mathematics and that is what I try to do with every student. An inspiring math teacher once told me "Math is Power, Math is Might, Math will make your Future Bright!" and that has stuck with me ever since. I know that math can be frustrating and my goal for every student is to not only learn the material they need to pass a test but to truly understand it and to enjoy learning it. Being a tutor allows me the opportunity to change an impressionable student's mind about what they can and can't do and that fact is the goal I try to achieve with every student. I strive to not only up lift their mathematics level but to uplift their confidence.
I have a passion for math and love to share it with the next generation.
I am studying to be an Industrial and Systems Engineer and am experienced in many math classes. I have also tutuored many students before.

Spend 5-10 minutes in the beginning getting to know the student and use the rest of the allotted time to work on the material. Depending on the kind of tutoring needed I usually set goals to accomplish for the next session.

Look for someone you don't mind taking feedback from and mesh well with. A tutor should enjoy teaching as much as a student should enjoy learning.
