About Myles

I am a certified math teacher and I have extensive tutoring experiences. I am currently teaching in East Side, San Jose. I have been teaching here for 12 years.

I have a wide range of teaching experiences from Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Geometry, Algebra 2, PreCalculus or Math Analysis. I had a chance to teach in middle school for 7th 8th grade math class for in Richmond and Vallejo.

Tutoring is one of the supplementary measures that will help you succeed prepare for the class and A’s it, by either a follow-up or an advance lesson. I am welcoming you to a patient and knowleageable tutor.

I love Math. learning the styles, techniques, and having good foundations is always a plus factor. I have a variety of teaching experiences and had a chance to teach math enrichment every summer. I enjoy helping students develop strategies in learning math and prepare them to become a good test takers.

I used to teach inmy home country, the Philippoines in ahigh caliber school. I moved here in USA in 2001 to teach math in middle school for couple of years then transferred to high school and has been teaching high school math for 12 years.

I am a certified math teacher who took Bachelor of Science in education major in Mathematics.

About the lesson

I will see first where the student at by using non formal assessment, by talking, interviewing, working on assignments to give at least a little backgound where she /he is.

I had wide experience teaching all types of learners - recovery program, special Ed kid, advanced kids or the math enrichment and those kids for math competition.

$50 per hour for higher math like Geometry or Math 2, and Algebra 2 or Math 3
