About Samuel
I love being able to teach people things, especially if you are struggling with a certain topic of interest. I a very dedicated student, having graduated high school at the age of 16 and recieving an Associates Degree at the age of 18 with a 3.45 gpa. I'm confident that I'll be able to teach anyone with enough time and effort.
I enjoy the interaction between the tutor and the student. When I would help my classmates in college, it would always feel good to help someone that was struggling in the class.
I started teaching when I was in high school. Classmates would ask me for help in either Math or Science classes. In college, I would regularly tutor my classmates in classes such as Algebra, Anatomy, Biology, and Physiology.
This will be my first time working as a tutor, but I have tutored plenty of classmates during my education. I also lead a bi-weekly youth group at my local church, which consists around 2-5 members.

I always like to ask what area of study they're having trouble with. I also like to ask what type of study technique the student like. Then I'll guide them through some of the examples the student will provide, which will typically be homework problems.
I've worked with students from ages 11-18.
Be prepared with the questions you have for the tutor. It's very efficient for both the student and the tutor if the student has problems/examples that they are having trouble with.
When I was in high school, I had tutored a classmate in my Algebra 2 class. They needed help studying for a unit exam. I tutored them for an hour after school and they ended up getting an A on the exam.
