About Taylor
I love working with students individually so I can better connect to their personal needs and learning styles.
I have been tutoring for the past several years and I enjoy watching peers and students achieve their learning goals through tutoring.
Since I was in high school, I started tutoring my peers in subjects such as Algebra, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, and Physics. While tutoring in these subjects, I expanded tutoring in elementary math and enjoyed it ever since.
I have a Bachelor's in Kinesology and Exercise Science with a minor in Biology. Currently, I am working on getting my online tutoring certification through the National Tutoring Association.

At first, I would figure out the student's learning style. The student could learn more efficiently through visuals, auditory, or even reading and I would accommodate to their individual learning style. Typically, I would ask what they are struggling in and what makes them frustrated so I can develop a learning plan that better suits their needs.
I have worked with younger elementary school students and high school students.
Don't be afraid to ask questions and always give your best guess when working on problems even when you don't know the answer. It is okay to not be confident because teachers and tutors want to help you so you can be confident in yourself in the future.
