About Sylvia
Fun fact: I can recite every line of the movie The Princess Bride. Hi, my name is Sylvia, and I love working with students! The most rewarding part of tutoring for me is when a new concept “clicks” with a student - their excitement is contagious, and it’s a privilege to be able to help them reach that point! On a more personal level, I am a friendly, outdoorsy, athletic, and talkative type of person!
I partner with students on a one-on-one basis in STEM subjects through SoFlo Tutors, my tutoring agency. I studied Economics at the University of St. Andrews and have been tutoring for 2 years. At SoFlo, we work to raise grades, strengthen understanding, and increase confidence so that in the long-term, we will work ourselves out of a job by helping your student reach their fullest potential!
