About Sophia
My name is Sophia and I'm a senior at West Windsor-Plainsboro High School North! I'm currently taking AP Calculus AB and AP Literature and Composition and am ready to teach standardized test prep, math, and writing. My highest ACT composite score is a 35 with a superscore of a 36. I received an 800 on the SAT 2 Math 2 test, a 5 on the AP Language and Composition test, a 5 on the AP Microeconomics test, and I recently committed to New York University's Stern School of Business. I have been taking all honors/AP math classes since 8th grade and all honors/AP English classes since 9th grade. I am willing to tutor all ages!
After almost 12 years in the public education system, I’ve developed many studying techniques that have helped me maintain high performance levels in every subject. If I can pass my tips and knowledge onto others and help them reach even their smallest goals, I’m happy. I love helping people, and I love math and English- it’s as simple as that!

Get a feeling for how the student is doing in their subject. What are their current test grades, what do they feel are their strengths and weaknesses, etc. I'll start the lesson from where they currently are in their school curriculum and ask them to work out a few problems to pinpoint where they are having issues. In terms of standardized tests, I do things similarly- start with a practice test and then work on weaknesses.
