About Grant
I want to help you succeed! Nothing makes me happier than when a concept finally clicks for a client!
I have tutored students in various subjects (mainly math) for the last two years at Mahtomedi High School. I have experience leading small group as well as one on one sessions with clients as leader of my school's National Honor Society Tutoring Program.
My tutoring journey started with other classmates simply asking for help. I was happy to assist, but when the help overflowed the spare minutes during class, I started coordinating more formal one on one and group sessions with peers.
I have tutored for the past two years at Mahtomedi HS in Algebra (1+2), Geometry, Pre-Calculus, and AP Calculus AB + BC. I have recieved A's in the math classes I tutor as well as 5's on both the AB and BC exams.

I firmly believe in student-led coaching NOT tutoring. To start, I want to hear what a students goals are long term through our sessions. Then, we can plan how to get there. Lastly, we will identify certain skills or concepts that we can improve to reach our goal.
I mainly work with math students but have expertise in most areas of high school curriculum.
Look for a teacher who won't give you answers, but rather guide and coach alongside you we can enhance our learning together.
