Subjects tutored: elementary math, algebra 1/2, trigonometry, calculus, biology, chemistry, physics, molecular biology, biochemistry, physiology, SAT/ACT prep, MCAT prep, reading/writing, essay editing, etc.
I hope, during my tutoring session, not only to help the student with their areas of concern but also to instill confidence and help them develop a passion for learning and understanding, no matter what the subject may be.
I think that some of the most talents students develop their passions through struggling, and then finding the beauty of that struggle when they finally change their way of thinking in order to see new aspects of the same things. See that realization, that light-bulb go off -- that is why I love to teach.
