About Fermin

My passion for teaching and tutoring started 50 years ago when I was 16, student of 11th grade in High School. I help students explaining the basics, building up self-confidence and leading them to succeed.

I have taught in Spain, USA, Italy and Romania at ALL levels of education from Elementary School to College.

Bachelor in Physics-Mathematics and Doctor (PhD), both validated in the USA by Global Credentials Evaluators (GCE)

Spanish-Superior, certified by ACTFL (USA), English (Interpreter-US Courts and for ABC News), Romanian (Graduated at University of Bucharest, Romania) and Italian from ICTP, Triste, Italy.

(concealed information)

His dedication to making sure his student learns. Dr De La Fuente rented my second bedroom for 2 years 2014-16 at Mayflower apartments in Virginia Beach. I had a very good opportunity to observe how he tutored his students both in person and online. He is thorough and dedicated and always made sure his students were prepared taking extra time to follow up on his lessons and even make sure the students got to their classes on time. Their parents trusted Dr De La Fuente and often called him for personal advice on his students because he was always very effective in motivating them to succeed. I highly recommend his services.

Fermin Was the best Spanish teacher I ever had, he really drilled into me the core basics of Spanish and progressed into the more intricate concepts as we went along. I really thank him for our time together and without him I would not be able to speak nearly as well as I do today.
