I first ascertain how much help a student needs in various subjects.
I ask for a link, upload, or email of the subject matter at least a day before the session so that I can have any relevant materials and assignments ready. This allows for a better use of time, as I want to be as prepared as possible, so that the entire session is spent helping a student that needs help.
Sessions are per hour, but often split into two half hour sessions, depending on a students needs.
The time I spend preparing are NOT counted as part of the session times, only the actual sessions are part of my rates.
