About Ian

I scored a 1570 on the SAT,with a perfect score on the math test. I have gotten a 5 on AP Calculus BC, AP Chemistry, AP Computer Science A and AP US Government and Politics recently. I am really excited to teach you math and help you understand the test.

I am excited about math and Calculus in particular, and want to share the amazing knowledge we have of these mathematical laws.

I am a college freshman, and have earned a 5 on AP Calculus BC, AP Chemistry and AP US Government and Politics, and a 1570 on the SAT all recently. I really enjoyed taking the AP Calculus BC exam, and can't wait to prepare you for it.

I got an 800 in the SAT MATH II subject exam and SAT CHEMISTRY subject exam recently.

In the sciences I have also passed AP Biology, and AP Physics C:Mechanics. For History, I have recently gotten an A and an A- on college freshman world history, and college freshman american history, respectively.

About the lesson

I will see where they are at in their learning, and what they are struggling with by asking them questions. Then I take the topics they are having a hard time with and go through practice problems, trying to explain the mathematical principle in the most understandable way. I will do this with writing and drawing and explaining through talking. I will answer any questions they have to the best of my ability.

For AP test prep, I will teach them the topics that are on the exam, and not anything extra that is usless at test day. I will go through the procees explained above with these topics, and give them test taking tips from my own experince. I will also give them practice exams to diagnose the student's understanding of the material, and find where he or she needs help.

I have usually talked with Seniors or Juniors in high school.

Look for those who love what they are doing and care about teaching it to you, that truly want to enrich your life by their service.

I was extremly happy taking the AP Calculus BC exam, which happened recently.
