About Rose

I have a Masters degree in Finance and was always a dilligent and hard working student. I have always helped and continue to help my younger sister with school. During my academic carreer, I use to volunteer often to help elementary students with homework.

While I have a Masters in Finance, I am partial to math and business subjects. However, I am comfortable teaching English Language Arts and Social Studies. I received a perfect score on my essay on the GMAT and GRE.

I enjoy teaching students and feel excited when I see them succeed. I like explaining an often complex subject such as math or economics in a way that helps students to understand.

I have always had a love for teaching. When I was a kid I would play school with my sister, teaching her basic math at a very young age. I was always the person helping and explaining things to my peers throughout school. I like to help people and feel proud when they are finally able to understand a subject.

I have a Bachelors in Finance and as well as a Masters in Finance. I was actively involved with honor socities during my academic career. I use to volunteer at an Elementary School to assist with homework help. I also help my younger sister in school as well, she ranks in the top 1% of her high school class.

About the lesson

I first like to understand the student's strenghths and weaknesses and what I can do to help the student improve. Then asking them questions on how they learn best, for example I am a visual learner. Then asking if they want me to provide additional exmaples and exercises beyond what they are assigned in school. I want to understand what my student needs and how best to help them succeed.

I have mostly worked with younger students, but I am open to all ages and grades.

Prior to meeting explain your current situation and where you are needing help. Make sure your tutor has experience with the subject and would be able to sufficiently help.

A recent event I am found of is tutoring my sister in economics prior to her exam. We no longer live in the same state so I talked over the topics with her over facetime. We discussed the topics she was unsure of and I provided further examples to her beyond what her teacher provided. She recieved a 96% on her exam! I was happy that I helped her understand the concepts.
