About Nikhel
Hello! My name is Nikhel Krishna and I am a second year Computer Science Major at Georgia Tech looking for a Math tutoring opportunity. I was born and raised in Atlanta.
I have always had a passion for teaching people and seeing the "ah-a" moment from students when they finally understand a concept. This especially applies to the feild of math as I belive it's my strong suit.
I will help students achieve their goals by:
- Organizing lessons and practice problems for areas that could be improved on by the student
- Utlizing my strong communication skills to try an nuture a positive learning environment where the student actively engages with the content
- Listening to the student for their input on what learning strategies best suit them.
While I am new to the world of online tutoring I have expirience throughout my high school years teaching students. I was a Teaching Assisant for a Math Circle program at Emory University for a year and also an educational faciliator at my local museum for 3 years.
