About Samuel
I have just recieved my bachelors degree in biomedical engineering at Florida Institute of Technology where i graduated Cum Laude and am currently starting my masters in tissue engineering and biomaterilas in the fall. I have always loved math as it has came easy to me allowing me to fastly excel. When I entered college I noticed that many of my engineering peers struggled heavily with math allowing me to be a tool for them, so that they could improve their grades. Thoughout college I have spent countless hours helping other students one on one with differnt math courses all the way from basic algebra concepts to thermodynamics. From all the students I have helped I have only recieved positive reviews not only from their mouths but on paper too where most peers I helped would increase their test grades by a whole letter grade. My passion has always been helping to improve others so that they can reach their maximum potential. In short my goal is to help any individual to improve their math skills where I will work directly with them to hone in on their learning style. This will allow for them to understand the best way for them learn math as well as retaining informtion longer, faster, and stronger. I look forward to helping you improve your math skills in a fun and easy way.
Most of my peers came to me for help in math and told me I was good at teaching so I figured why not give tutoring a shot.
Currently starting my masters in the fall in biomedical engineering with a special topic in tissue engineering and biomaterials. I have also been the scholorship chair for one of our on campus organizations where I tutored numerous members of that organzation specifically in calculus 1,2, 3 and Differential Equations.

First I will talk to them extensively about the subject at hand and how they view the subject. Then begin to walkthrough problems while closely watching them. This will help to identify what areas in the problem they struggle with and the best way to go about combating those struggles.
Mainly college students in the engineering field, as well as a little volunteer work at the local middle school.
You have to have the mentalitly that you want to do good and learn you are going to struggle but thats okay just know with hard work and a positive outlook you will be able to reach any academic goal you set yourself to.
