About Javier
Hi, I’m Javier! I’m currently finishing my bachelor’s degree in Entertainment Media Management at California State University, Northridge. I’ve earned multiple certifications and skills in digital marketing, project management, generative AI, business analytics, Microsoft Office, budget management, and video editing. My college experience has allowed me to learn from exceptional professors across subjects like geology, statistics, and economics. Watching dedicated leaders motivate students to overcome challenges has been incredibly inspiring, and I’m excited to bring that same passion to tutoring.
I’ve worked with students from kindergarten through 8th grade for over a year, and I especially enjoy working with 5th to 8th graders. My experience as a math tutor and enrichment teacher, both one-on-one and in small groups, has helped me understand each student’s unique challenges, whether it’s algebra or video production. I’m dedicated to helping students reach their full potential, overcoming obstacles, and building confidence in their skills. I also have effective tools for both in-person and online sessions, giving students more time to learn with less time spent traveling.
My goal is to see each student succeed and leave feeling more accomplished and happy.
