About Hovnan
Hello, I am currently a freshmen in college (California State University Northridge). In highschool I took both AP calculus AB and AP calculus BC and I recieved a 5 on the AP calculus AB exam (I have yet to take the BC exam at this time). I have also competed in many academic competitions pertaining to math and the sciences also such as Scinece Olympiad, Sciecne Bowl, and CSULB Math day at the beach. I have been tutoring students in my local highschool for the past two years also.

When working with new students I first get to know the student a little and asnswer any questions they may have. I next ask for them to do their work and ask any questions they may have in order to see what they are specifcally having trouble with. I then go teach the student what they might have trouble with and go review over earlier lessons that can stregnthen their foundation in the subject. Math is a tricky subject, once you fall behind in one lesson it becomes harder to continue and learn the subject after and so on.
Dont be afraid to ask questions, we are here to help you learn!
