About Kelvin

High affinity for teaching and getting people to understand concepts. Volunteered as a tutor for a year for less fortunate elementary school kids. Experience with teaching through two summers of working as a head swim coach.

I just enjoy helping people out in general. My mother grew up in extreme poverty and she always told me to appreciate the smaller things in life and to pass on good fortune. I see teaching and helping people understand concepts as a great way to do that

About the lesson

Just to get a sense of how they learn and what they need help with. No student is the same and everyone learns in a different way.

Kelvin taught me basic Macroeconomics for my high school class. I was having a hard time understanding the way it was taught by my teacher, but Kelvin explained the concepts to me that got me to understand it.

Extremely helpful tutor, he helped my son understand some concepts in a friendly and kind manner. Even when my son repeatedly could not understand, Kelvin stayed patient and calm and worked my son through it. I highly recommend him!
