About Rahsaan
I pride myself on making my tutoring sessions clear, concise, and enjoyable, posing questions that ask students to extend their knowledge beyond factual recall and repetition, apply what is known to what is unknown, and elaborate on what is known to deepen their understanding of information.
I enojoy helping students discover, communicate, and preserve knowledge not only in the spirit of academia, but free inquiry as well.
Over high school, I've completed summer coursework at both Stanford and MIT, refining skills of collaboration, communication, and observation necessary to achieve success in science, engineering, and beyond. From designing a 25-square-meter micro-home with an MIT architectural professor, to crafting a scientific blog article on nanotechnology with the support of a Stanford Post-Doctoral fellow, to wrestling with the limits of discourse during Socratic Seminar with 79 of America's brightest minds, I strongly believe that my passion, determination, accomplishments, and heart have given me an excellent foundation within academia.
