I am a NC Certified teacher for Exceptional Children holding licensure in 8 areas, including:

I love teaching and enjoy seeing students finally succeed with concepts.
I have a B.S. in Special Education from East Carolina University and a M.A. in Educational Leadership from Queens University of Charlotte. I am currently a doctoral student at East Carolina University in the EdD program.

I often like to hear from the parents and the students about what subject and concepts they require the most support. I am flexible in regards to teaching--I can help you with what you have assigned or I can come up with materials myself to help you learn these concepts. Once I have met with a student a few times, I feel like I can really pinpoint their needs and how to best approach them in order for concepts to "click."
