About Riya
I was in the student's shoes not too long ago. I struggled with school but I continued to perserve through because I love to learn. I have been tutoring for 2 years now with a variety students. I am a high acheiving student at my high school, with a perfect GPA and 35 SCT score. I am a published author in science and literature, as well as an ISEF Finalist and National Merit Finalist.
I love talking, inspiring and teaching younger students about things we both are passionate about and hopefully improve their knowledge for the future.
I had tutor that inspired me because I loved learning and they fostered that passion. I hope to do the same with many other students.
I have been a tutor locally for a few years.

I will ask them about what they are struggling with, any upcoming assignments or exam, and get a feel for their level, interests and how I can best help them.
Everyone, of all ages from 6 to 17. I am a very flexible and compassionate person and love to work with new people.
Hard work defeats all. That applied to both the student and the teacher. I am willing to work extremely hard to have my students succeed.
