About Ismael

I am a engineer and have completed numerous rigorous level college courses and continue to apply mathematics and physics at work. I struggled in highschool then had an apiffany moment that made me realize anyone can learn any subject as long as it's approached the right way. I focus on the root of the problem and try and fix it (ex. Usually in math people struggle because they never truly understood material from previous lessons/classes) I don't mind working with a person relearning subject to learn current subjects. I have can teach all physics and math classes taken in the highschool level and below. I can teach most science classes as well.

I enjoy teaching, aiming to give students the same "aha" moment and experience that I had learning math and physics which is a great feeling and gives a sense of accomplishment. Learning things down to the root and simplest aspects of the subject helps students realize what truly fascinates them. I enjoy the excitement and sense of accomplishment students get when they overcome rigorous subjects/assignments and understand the concept.

I tutored my study group in college on my strongest subjects and enjoyed it.

Not much training with tutoring. I train entry level engineers which includes teaching them how to perform tasks as well as execute calculations on the fly when in the field.

Look for someone who will take the time to understand what the students strengths and weaknesses are. Learn what works and doesn't work with the student.

Teaching a advanced college course to my classmates that was difficult to grasp. We spent hours everyday which made me stronger at the subject and I learned something new almost everytime I reexplained the same concept.
