About Jessica
Math has always been a passion of mine. When I decided to go to college for Animal Science, I never thought I would end up in a career that focused solely on math. After some time in that career, I realized that my true passion was teaching and what better to teach students about than my favorite subject!
I have a Bachelors Degree in Animal Science. During that degree, I took many math classes as electives because I thought they were fun. After this, I got my Masters in the Art of Teaching. This is in teaching Secondary Mathematics. I am licensed in the state of Arkansas for grades 7-12.

I always want to get to know my students on a personal level. Relationship building is so important when it comes to teaching. I want to know their hobbies and interests. This allows me to find ways to make content relevant to them. I also want to know what they want to do after the graduate that way I can hear the learning process towards their goals.
