About Sondra
I have a degree in Math Education with a teaching license for 5-12 math. I also have experience tutoring at the college level from basic algebra to calculus 1. I have great ways to explain concepts- even more than one way! From the old fashioned techniques to the new ones used today. I incoorporate hands on learning and giving the "why it works" instead of the "it just works that way".
I love seeing the light bulb and "aha!" moments! I also enjoy students feeling more confortable and confident with their math.
