About Ashley
First and foremost, I am a safe space for everyone and do not bring personal biases into my work. If you are struggling or ashamed of where you're at, please know that I am extremely understanding and patient, no matter what stage of life you are at. I'm a lifelong learner who has a passion for math and Microsoft. I love to be able to share my experiences and help others learn that math isn't scary and can sometimes be fun. I've tutored math off and on since about 2014 and helped both elementary and college students pass their classes. I've always helped others because I find joy when people realize that they can understand and navigate their problems with my help.
I have an Associates degree in both Human Resource Management and Criminal Justice, a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, and I'm 3 weeks away from graduating with my Master of Business and Science in Applied Business Analytics. I have served in the military for 11 years and have supervisory, management, and training experience. I am also skilled in Microsoft applications such as Access, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. I have taught many tricks and advanced techniques to those I have worked with who have been willing to learn.

I have always excelled at math naturally but enjoyed it as one of my favorite subjects throughout my education. I also have several college degrees and have helped numerous people pass their classes or gain understanding in the topic. Microsoft applications were learned at my job as I had to find ways to be creative while managing many tasks and lots of data. I have been using them proficiently now for several years and would love to share that with those who want to know more.

I like to find out what you are struggling with and then gauge your understanding of the material. I observe first and then I try to simplify the process by working from the basics (if needed), making our way towards the more complex issues. If you need practice in a certain area before moving on, I try to help with that as well until you are comfortable progressing. This process can be as slow or fast as you like and I am very patient, especially if you are trying to understand the "why" behind the problem.
