About Liz
EVERYONE is a math person, but if you feel like you're not, I can help! My high school algebra teacher convinced me that algebra was invented to torture high school students, but I love it now, and so can you! I earned a credential to teach high school math here in North Carolina, and now I tutor middle, high school, and college students in various maths like geometry, algebra, and precalculus. I've been tutoring for a couple of decades, and some of my students who were labeled "slow learners" ended up with the highest grades in their classes! My first calculus student, who had failed the first test, ended up becoming a math teacher! I love math, and you can too!
I love connecting with individuals and finding their unique interests and strengths to help them grow as critical thinkers and mathematicians. I excel at identifying where students need to grow and helping correct misconceptions they have developed in previous studies.

Liz helped me break down difficult topics in math and went step by step with each problem I had.
