About Gregory
Superb one-on-one math tutoring with 20 years experience helping students suceed and overcome difficulty in math.
I enjoy the look on a student's face that says, "now I understand". I enjoy helping to change a student's outlook in how they feel about their mathematical abilities for the better.
I always ejoyed math while I was growing up but I didn't realize I had a gift for sharing that knowledge with others until working in a youth ministry. I moved to Nashville in 1995 to help out with the Family Foundation Fund, a ministry for boys from single-parent homes. While working in that ministry, one of the things I did and really enjoyed doing so, was helping the boys with their math homework. It was during those fours years of working with th boys that I discovered my passion of teacjing math and I havent looked back since. Since 1999, I've been sharing my knowledge and passion for math with students from elementary schoolthrough college.
I have a degree in electrical engineering from Northern illinois University and since 2005, I've been teaching math at Volunteer State Community College since. Along with teaching at Volunteer State, I teach high school at a home school tutorial, and I have run my math tutoring business since 1999.
