About Annie

Something from my servise that stands out is that not only am I personable and easy to work with, I'm willing to go the extra mile for my students to make sure they are exceling at the subjects we are working on.

Teaching/tutoring has always been something I've loved to do since I was little: I loved the sense of accomplishment I got when someone else is able to excel under my guidance.

I started teaching in high schoo because teachers invited me to be a part of their tutoring centers and I thought it would be a good way to utilize my skills while helping others.

I tutored in the Chinese and Spanish tutoring center in my high school for all 4 years and was even the president for both in my last year. On top of that, I babysat young children for families in the community and am a certified yoga istructor. Overall, these experiences all taught me how to work with different age goups and personalities.

About the lesson

I always like to get to know the student better first: what their proficency level in the subject is as well as their student habits and general personality. After that I would be able to come up with more personalized methods of tutoring to better help each student.

I have worked with ages ranging from toddlers (3-5 years old) to high school seniors.
