I would first like to get to know the student and their preffered way to learn. Students are different so it is important to adapt a lesson to better suit their needs.
Do not be afraid to ask questions. Any good teacher will never judge their students if they ask a "stupid" question.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
There are a lot of resources online that students can use to learn. Think about if you need a teacher or you can study on your own. Personally, I like having someone to make sure I am on the right track and I enjoyed having a teacher. Test yourself, see if you can do it on your own, and if you cannot it is okay and there are many people out there who would be more than willing to help you out.
