About Emma
Teaching has always been my passion and I enjoy helping students find their love of learning. I graduated with a dual degree in General and Special Education which helps me understand how students learn and where likely areas of misunderstanding are taking place. I have experience tutoring students in a variety of areas and ages. I have worked with kids from ages 5 all the way up to 18. I truly enjoy tutoring students,
My teaching philosophy is simple - to truly impact the lives of my students through supporting their academic success. My style is engaging and passionate because I love what I do. My sessions begin with pinpointing areas of weakness and seeing what prerequisite skills need to be taught before moving forward. This way my students are able to have a firm foundation on which to build their knowledge.
