About Roger

I separate myself from other tutors by being enthusiastic to learn something new and relate various topics to form a bigger picture. I am confident in my ability to learn and explain math, and would like share my knowledge with someone that has a desire to understand/relate/learn... or someone that needs a fresh perspective.

I enjoy seeing the moment when a new concept is grasped with understanding. I also enjoy fresh perspective gained from insight with the student.

In college I helped teach & tutor freshman students that were struggling to understand Calc 1 & 2.

I am a licensed engineer that has studied math up to a graduate level. I have a great understanding in math as it relates to the real world.

About the lesson

Determine where they are as a student and what they need help understanding in the topic they are studying. Build off the positives they have developed & recognize the best way they conceptulize new material.

So far only college freshman, looking to expand my reach with all levels of math tutoring.

Find a tutor that has enough of an understanding to explain concepts in more than one way. And has the follow through to explain it until the student grasps a full understanding.

I graduated from Kansas University on 12/2020 and gained employment with North American Lighting as an Engineer on 5/2021.
