About Keisha
I am a math tutor.....hear me roar! I have been tutoring students of all ages (elementary, middle, and high school) since 2010 in Atlanta, GA. I have tutored for Wyzant.com, and also tutored local students in the area. I enjoy seeing students "get it" and have their own lightbulb moment--when it clicks in their heads! I enjoy teaching pre-algebra, algebra 1 and 2, elementary through high school mathematics, and geometry. I have my own materials, but I am great with technology, so we can also use your textbooks and materials. Due to COVID-19, I am only tutoring online (remote) at this time.
I am an attorney, with a business degree. I use math in my everyday life, and I enjoyed mathematics while I was in school.

When I meet with a new student, I usually speak with the student about what their issues are. I look over their textbook and materials, and ask them to tell me what they are having trouble with. Then, I start with a few basic concepts, and ask the student to solve a few mathematic problems for me so that I can determine what the problem may be. Then I assist the student in completing a few problems, and I give the student more problems to complete so that they are comfortable with the concept learned.
