About Alec

I believe that there are two main areas that make my service stand out above others. The first is the extent of my personal success in high school. I had straight A's in every quarter of high school and scored a 5 on all 12 AP exams that I took. I believe that I can push students to acieve these very same goals. The second factor is my commitment to perpetually serving students. I believe that the path towards mastery cannot be restricted to a block of time on a schedule. Instead, I give my contact information to students and am often available to answer questions or clarify concepts for students at any time.

I really enjoy learning and practicing these subjects, and I get the same joy from teaching them to others. Being able to share the knowledge that I have gained through years of learning and sharing the wonder that I once experienced when these subjects first clicked for me makes tutoring a truly special activity for me. It is truly beautiful to tutor someone to the extent that our two minds are working in unison with a single common goal: the success of the student. It is this success that ultimately motivates me. There is nothing more gratifying than knowing that I have unlocked a potential in a student to allow them to achieve their scholarly goals.

I have always consistently helped my classmates to improve and succeed in all of their classes, and my first official tutoring came through my school's Math Honor Society.

I have always have a passion for helping others learn new things and I am driven by seeing success in those whom I have helped. I tutored frequently in high school through my school's Math Honor Society, and consistently step out of my way to provide help to anyone who asks for it. About the lesson

The first and most important thing is to get to know the student and what areas they need the most improvement in. Improving the understanding of their weakest areas leads to the most significant progress and can often increase their understanding of other areas.

I have worked with high school students of all levels, from freshmen below their grade level to seniors in all AP classes.

Look for a teacher that not only succeeded in the class themself, but also knows the keys to unlock success for any student in the class.
