About Mary
I am a k-1 resource room teacher, and I have been teaching for the last 4 years! I have experience in grades K-5 in reading, writing, phonics instruction, and math. I am certified to teach K-6 and special education. I am dedicated, passionate, and have a fun approach to teaching and tutoring.
I enjoy seeing the "aha" moment with the children I work with. It is so rewarding to see children become empowered and confident in themselves when they realize that they are capable of perservering and making their goals a reality through hard work and dedication. I also enjoy learning about the children and finding new activities that will challenge them as well as build up the skills they need to succed in school and in life.
