About Kimberly
As a current high school math teacher with 30+ years of experience in the instructional setting as well as curriculum writing for my district, I focus my teaching on the conceptual understanding rather than the procedural aspect. Understanding the why assists in deeper understanding and retention of concepts. My preferred approach is one that involves slow and detailed explanations to ensure comprehension in hopes of avoiding feelings of exasperation from my students.
