About Makayla
Current college freshman at UC Davis looking to help, educate, and prepare children in almost all subjects! I'm very passionate about school and managed to maintain a 4.0+ all throughout high school and received many academic awards while also playing a competitive sport. Last year I was a peer tutor and helped teach writing, reading, and speech to sophomore English students whose primary language at home was not English.

Every student learns differently so I would like to first ask them a few questions and try to get to know them a bit before we begin working. Next we will establish a basis of what the student is confident/comfortable with and then what they struggle with within a subject and work from there.
