About Jordan
I have been a private tutor for more than 5 years in various math and science subjects (ranging from chemistry to calculus); however, I am comfortable tutoring any subject. I will be graduating from Mines with a Master's degree in Computer Science in addition to a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and a minor in Physics.
I love being able to teach students about information that I'm passionate about. It is satisfying when students finally understand what they've been learning in school.
I have been a private tutor for the past 5 years. I have taught students ranging from history to mathematics. For 2 years, I was also a high school coach so I am able to teach students in a method that is tailored to their learning style.

When starting with a new student, I will go over what they may or may not know from their current class. I will identitify the areas where the student may be weakest in. Moving forward, I will focus on filling in the gaps of knowledge while solidifying the lessons that the student is learning currently.
I have worked with students in elementary school all the way to seniors in high school. Ranging from learning how to multiply to AP Calculus.

Jordan was thorough and very helpful in helping my kids. She was always patient and had no problem going over the questions again and again until the concepts were understood.
Jordan would take the time and effort to make sure you understood the material being covered. If the hour session was up and you still didn’t understand she would stay a little longer to make sure you got it or she would try to explain it another way for it to be understood.
