About Alexander
I am a Computer Science Major at CU Denver and have an affinity for mathematics. Notable courses I have completed include Calculus III, Differential Equations, Linear Algebra and Discrete Structures. I have recieved an A+ in just about every mathematics course I've taken and have tutored high school and college students in algebra, geometry, statistics, trigonometry and calculus who don't respond to the traditional math course curriculum. Students I tutor overcome their mental barriers and develop an understanding of the material giving them difficulty after as little as one session. I got mad at my teachers for being incompetent.
I have been a volunteer tutor for two years at East High School and have had experience teaching students that have given up learning in the classroom. I have learned to teach mathematics in ways that make patterns and ideas clear to the individuals receiving my help.

I will see how the individual is attempting to solve the problem and will teach the underlying concepts involved with the problem in a way that makes sense to the individual and is compatible with what they have already learned to not waste time.
