About Philip
I'm a college student with 4+ years of experience as a tutor, camp counselor, and teaching assistant working with all ages from K-12. I can handle any subject, but I specialize in SAT prep, math, and particularly math competitions such as the AMC and AIME. I'm great at breaking down complex concepts and achieving that "a-ha!" moment when a tough idea finally clicks with a student. I'm very patient and adaptable to different students, learning styles, and goals. I also find that developing a good rapport with students helps them stay engaged, learn more effectively, and make tutoring more fun for both of us.
