About Wilson
I am a final-year mathematics and statistics student from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a handful of scholarships and awards. I have experience in teaching, tutoring, and assisting students in passing academic and professional exams.
There is simply nothing more blissful than seeing my students tackle mathematics problems.
During my sophomore and junior years, many friends came to me to ask for help, especially in mathematics. I discovered that I really enjoy teaching since then.
In one month, I will receive a bachelor degree in mathematics and statistics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Initially, I evaluate how my new student would accept new information. Every student is unique in their speed of receiving input and the responsiveness of the type of information they are told. It is crucial for me to understand the capability and capacity of my students. I usually proceed with examples in order to transfer knowledge because it is the easiest method to ensure comprehensive understanding.
College students.
Avoid teachers that get too conceptual and theoretical. Although a few students would love this method of teaching, the majority of students prefer applicable and practical methods.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
"What do I not know?" -> It is vital to know what you are weak at. Poor tutor sessions are those with unclear direction.
