About Ann
Hi my name is Ann Rose. I am currently a Junior in High School. Being in High School is an advantage in tutoring because I've learned the content in its most update form and retained the information which makes tutoring easy. Due to my age, I don't demand the high cost that some tutors may charge for the same content. I have been a tutor for almost a year now. I help with Math, History, and English. I've helped a failing student become a B student in a span of 3 months. I helped a student get caught up on all of his work (5 months) in 17.5 hours of tutoring. By the time I graduate I will have taken 7 AP classes and 3 advanced classes. I have a 4.02 gpa. I've had honor roll and high honor roll ever since intermediate school. At school I have gotten awards for Math and History. My PSAT 10 was a 1450 so I can also help with SAT prep.
I work a job in customer service so I understand what it is like to have to adjust techniques to cater to clients. I have tutoring experience and participate in tutor club at school. Growing up I had to teach myself anything regarding school due to my parents lack of formal education. I enjoy helping people and using my knowledge that I've acquired from school. I love to work with people and I develope good personal relationships with my clients and their families.
I am still in High School, however, I have been tutoring for a year and I am currently in Tutor Club at my school.

My process for work with students is very structured.
1. I like to do a text or phone (preferred) consultation with you.
- I like to talk with you first (parent or guardian). I will ask you what subjects the student needs help with and what your concerns and goals are.
2. I will either talk with the student in person or through phone and go through their grades in the subjects that require my assistance.
- Through this I can gage how much help a student may need and I can get to know the student and their personality to adjust my teaching techniques. I like to develope a personal relationship with the students I tutor. This makes the process easier and more engaging for students.
3. We discuss a schedule and set goals for score in upcoming test or quizzes and assignment.
