About Teto

I love to help students achieve better. My approach to helping students has to do with making them feel comfortable with me to ask me questions on materials they do not understand. Starting from the fundamentals and working their way through the more complicated concepts. When I was in school, I found that I learned better by drawing visuals for everything. It helped especially with mathematical concepts I normally would not understand at face value.

I started tutoring since Senior year of High School. I have always been gifted with the understanding of Math. By the time I was a senior, I had already taking AP Calc, AP Statistics, AP Chemistry, and AP Biology. So I used that knowledge to help other students who struggled with understanding important Math concepts.

Qualification and Certifications

-Recieved no less than a “B” in all Math and Science courses

-possess several teaching techniques that help students become successful

- Graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Minnesota State University Mankato in 2014.

Since college. I’ve always known I possess the skills to teach when I would take on the leadership position in study groups. So I applied for a tutoring position through my school’s tutoring center.

I have a B.S degree in Biology with a Minor in Mathematics. I worked in the tutoring department throughout college.

About the lesson

Understanding them, and connecting with them first so that they feel comfortable with the learning process

I’ve worked with mostly College students. However, I tutor Junior and Hogh School Students as well.

My advice would be hiring someone who has passion for teaching and not just after the money because at the end of the day the students will be the ones left to pick up the scraps. Hire someone who will allow you to embrace the learning process.
