About David
I have an undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Maryland. While my primary work experience is in construction and farming, I have always had a knack for simplifying complex concepts in order to teach or communicate them to others. I have informally tutored both math and language subjects and am proficient in most K-12 subjects and college prep tests. I can work with both advanced and remedial students and will accommodate my teaching pace and style to a student's needs. I am patient and encouraging and hope to help a student learn the immediate subject matter and develop a greater ability to learn in the process!
