About Robin
I am an accountant with a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics who likes to think outside of the box. I know how difficult mathematics can be at times and thus try to find new ways to make the content understandable while making myself available as often as possible to ensure my student's success.
I enjoy utilizing my education and training to better someone else's understanding of something.
After college, I was recruited by a tutoring agency and I've been tutoring since.
I have a Bachelors of Science in Mathematics from Montclair State University.

I try to get a handle on the student's overall mathematical accumen to ensure that they have the tools to be able to do the current coursework (e.g. if they are having difficulty with multiplication/division, then they are not going to have a good time with factoring)
Once the ground work has been determined, I go over the material in question to ensure that the student understands what is required to complete the work. From here, the process adjusts to the student's needs.
The students I have worked with have ranged in age from elementary school (9 years ~ 4th Grade) to College (19 years ~ Sophomore).
Be aware of what you understand and what your weaknesses are. Your mindset when you know these two items will determine your overall success.
