About Ehpril
I obtain over 4+ years of professional childcare work experience, 3 of those years specifically geared towards education, mainly in STEM and environmental sciences. I am incredibly enthusiastic when it comes to teaching science and math, especially when educating kids. I have the ability to bring excitement and curiosity into any possible topic. My high energy and fun attitude makes me a great candidate for working with children. I have a passion for science and math, and aspire to gain a career in the environmental biotech industry. I aspire to find jobs that incorporate both my love for science and working with children.
I began teaching after I realized how much I loved working with kids. The amount of enthusiastic feedback I recieved egnited my passion, and made me realize how much I love teaching.
I have worked as a professional tutor for over a year, working with kids ranged from barely learning math up to high school calculus.

When working with a new student, I initially gauge their current skills. I like to configure what topics they're strong in, and what topics they are struggling with. I have come to learn over the years that a lot of issues in math arise in a lack of foundational math skills.
I have worked with a wide age range of kids, from kids who are barely learning their multiplication, to high schoolers who are in AP calculus.
