About Brian
I provide math tutoring for students K-12 including IB math, AP Calculus, College Algebra, College Calculus, and more!
I have been a high school math teacher since 2005 in which time I have taught every possible math class offered at the high school level all the way from basic math to College & AP level classes. During this time I have had hundreds of students go through tutoring with me, both in person and online, and all have had a positive impact on their math class! I have no doubt that I could help any student understand math!
I offer tutoring at the following times by appointment only and depending on availability:
Monday – Friday 4:00-10:00pm
Saturday 10:00am-10:00pm
Sunday 10:00am-10:00pm
(all times Mountain Time)
Most of the tutoring appointments are at least 1 hour long, but I can customize the appointments to fit your need in half hour increments including longer and shorter lessons.
Started teaching college classes at Colorado School of Mines while working on my master's degree and loved it!

I ask them where they are struggling in their math class and then we work together through example problems or problems from their homework dealing with the topic until the student understands what they are doing.
I have worked with all types including low-income, minority, special needs, gifted and talented, etc.

Details
$40/hr for in-person lessons within 5 miles of Iliff and Buckley in Aurora, CO. I charge an additional $5/hr for every 5 miles I travel outside that radius. So 5-10 miles of travel is $45/hr, 10-15 miles is $50/hr, etc.
