About Juno
I am a recent graduate of the University of Washington, having completed a Bachelor of Science in Biology, and Computer Science and Systems. Throughout my time in undergrad, I privately tutored many clients in-person for 4+ years and would like to reach a wider audience online. I've worked primarily with k-12 students in English and math. However, I'm confident in my ability to teach science and computer science as well.
I focus my teachings around 'why' rather than 'how'. Showing how to solve a problem is dandy, but I believe true understanding and learning come from comprehending why the solution is what it is. I want my students to be able to apply these thought processes to other problems and be confident in their answers.
