About Amta
I am enrolled in AP and Honors courses myself and understand the importance of understanding a challenging concept. I also have tutoring experience by working at Kumon as a Reading and Math Assistant. This experience has allowed me to communicate with students effectively and accurately grade papers. Lastly, I am able to tutor all subjects, not just Math and English. Please feel free to contact me beforehand if you have further questions.
I enjoy assisting students with their work and helping them understand important concepts. What makes my job specifically interesting is the fact that I get to build lasting relationships with my students.
I have been working at Kumon as a Reading and Math Assistant for more than a year. This experience has given me the capability to grade accurately and address important concerns with my students. Furthermore, I have learned to communicate with my students and build strong relationships with them.

I approach new students by making them feel comfortable by communicating with them. I also try to prepare personal worksheets beforehand that a student can use to advance in a subject.
