About Kimberly

I am a dedicated and experienced tutor with over 30 years of professional experience in accounting, auditing, and analytical work, along with extensive experience supporting students in math and statistics. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting and am a Certified Fraud Examiner. My background includes both corporate and government roles, giving me a strong foundation in real-world applications as well as academic theory. Throughout my career, I have worked with complex data, financial analysis, and compliance standards, and I bring that same level of clarity and precision into my tutoring. I understand that many students struggle not because they lack ability, but because concepts were not presented in a way that made sense to them. My goal is to bridge that gap by explaining material clearly, patiently, and in a way that builds confidence. I take a professional, organized, and student-focused approach to every session. I am reliable, well-prepared, and respectful of each student’s goals, whether they are working to improve grades, prepare for exams, or strengthen foundational skills. About the lesson

My tutoring approach is supportive, structured, and tailored to each student’s individual needs and learning style. I begin by identifying where the student feels confident and where they need the most support, so our lessons are focused, efficient, and goal-oriented. Whether the subject is math, accounting, auditing, or statistics, I break down complex concepts into clear, manageable steps and explain the “why” behind the process—not just the answer.

I believe learning is most effective when students feel comfortable asking questions, so I create a judgment-free environment where mistakes are part of the learning process. I use real-world examples, guided practice, and step-by-step problem solving to reinforce understanding and build confidence.
