About Haley

Hello! My name is Nicole and I am an undergraduate student at MSU Denver with an associates degree in communications. I am in the process of obtaining a double communications and English degree, with a focus on public rhetoric. I work with students who are 7th grade all the way up to adults on public speaking, reading and writing skills. I have been providing tutoring on and off for over 5 years, starting in high school as a volenteer reading tutor with middle school and elementary school students. In the last 3 years, I have focused mostly on executive functioning tutoring for college students. My specialty is working with students online 1:1, but I do have experience with groups up to 10 students. I help students develop organizational skills that will last a life time, helping them consistently reach any goals they set. For writing students, I focus on writing and paragraph structure, reinforcing grammar skills, and providing detailed proofreading.

I provide kind, compassionate, and detailed feedback to help students reach their goals as quickly as possible. I use a visual time keeping model for executive functioning to help teach students the best skills to use for every day tasks. For public speaking I use a confidence and interaction model to address skills for presenting, as well as conquering stage freight. I am the best tutor for students looking to reach their long term goals with consistency.

I am a good fit for you if you are a student who wants to improve your public speaking, reading, or writing skills. I have worked extensively with students with autism, ADHD, and other neurodivergence, and would like to continue doing so, as it is something I am passionate about.

I do also have a flexible schedule and will always work to fit students in when they need it, as well as being flexible with cancelation and rescheduling.
